Adam Close, MD is part of our Health First team, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Close grew up in Indian Harbour Beach, FL and graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and zoology. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. Dr. Close continued his training at The George Washington University where he completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Close was trained extensively in high-risk obstetrics as well as natural birth. He believes in partnering with women to meet their pregnancy goals and reducing the rate of the primary cesarean delivery.

In addition to obstetrics, he has interests in the evaluation and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, cervical and vulvar diseases and pelvic pain. Dr. Close is proficient in office procedures and skilled in a wide variety of minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and vaginal approaches.

He is thrilled to be back in Brevard County and enjoys cycling, watersports and spending time with his family.
