Alanna Colon Goncalves, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
OB/GYNAlanna Colon is an advanced registered nurse practitioner and a certified nurse midwife with clinical experience in obstetrics and womenâ??s health. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University headquartered in Hyden, Kentucky. She attended Eastern Florida State college, formerly Brevard Community College, and earned an Associates in Arts and Associates in Science in Nursing. Colon has worked in obstetrics and women’s health for over 10 years. She gained additional labor and delivery experience while working as a travel nurse in San Diego, South Florida and New York.
She completed her clinical/internship for her advanced practiced registered nurse/certified nurse midwife degree at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL. Alanna has delivering privileges at Cape Canaveral Hospital and has completed first assist training for the Davinci Robot at Viera Hospital.
Alanna holds a board certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board.
