Amanda Hiestand, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse who came to Health First from the Minute Clinic in Chicago, with more than 20 years in healthcare.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in surgical and gastroenterology departments within Chicago.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing while there from Resurrection University. Hiestand earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Indiana University in South Bend, Indiana.

Hiestand is a board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Florida. She is certified in Basic Life Support and a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (U.S. Department of Transportation) Medical Examiner.
