Anabel P. Pereda is a Board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN). She has been an active healthcare provider since 1997, when she began her career working in rural clinics in Mississippi. Anabel obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northwestern State University in Shreveport, LA. She then earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus.
She is licensed in the State of Florida as an APRN and is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Following her service in rural clinics, Anabel provided on-site care for the Okaloosa County Health Department in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. There, she provided family planning, STD counseling and clinical care for HIV patients. In 2008 Anabel joined Melbourne Internal Medicine Associates (MIMA) where she provided direct care and monitoring to patients undergoing nuclear enhanced stress tests and cardiac CTs. Before joining Health First, Anabel served as an APRN for Osler Medical.
Anabel lives in Melbourne with her husband and children. She speaks Spanish and English.
