Anri Brits, MDFamily Medicine
Anri Brits, MD is part of our Health First team. She completed her family medicine residency at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine at Phelps Hospital Program in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
Dr. Brits earned her doctorate of medicine at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands-Antilles. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in business administration with a minor in chemistry at University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
Dr. Brits was born in South Africa and moved to Orlando, FL as an adolescent. She is excited about her return to Florida. She is licensed and board certified, having trained in full spectrum medicine extending from pediatrics, women’s health and geriatrics. She’s credentialed in pap smears, wet mounts and therapeutic injections and is proficient in suturing and splinting. She is an avid sports fan and has special interest in sports medicine, having volunteered at Marist College performing sports physical exams and medical clearance on NCAA athletes. She’s fluent in English and Afrikaans, and knows basic medical Spanish.
