Anthony Adams, MD, a Board-certified Family Practice physician, is a member of the Health First Medical Group (HFMG). He provides medical care at HF NOW Malabar Urgent Care.

Dr. Adams earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, VA. He earned his Medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine, in Washington, D.C. He completed a Residency in Family Practice at Martin Army Hospital in Ft. Benning, GA.

Dr. Adams served in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Army, Active Service, from 1971 to 1978. He then served in the National Guard from 1982 to 1999. He retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1999.

Prior to joining the HFMG, Dr. Adams served as a Family Practice physician with the Freeman Neosho Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician group in Neosho, MO. Previously, he provided Emergency Medicine care at both the Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL, and the Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL.

Following his Residency training at Ft. Benning, GA, Dr. Adams served as a Family Medicine and ER physician at Reynolds Army Hospital at Ft. Sill, OK. He then served as a Family Medicine practitioner for 13 years at Mease Hospital and Clinic in Dunedin, FL.

Dr. Adams lives in Melbourne.
