Anthony Herzog, MD is part of our Health First hospitalist team. Dr. Herzog earned his Doctor of Medicine at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL where he also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated cum laude. Dr. Herzog’s internal medicine residency took place at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Capital Medical Society, the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Herzog is also holds a National Institutes of Health stroke scale certification, and basic and advanced cardio life support certifications.
Dr. Herzog has volunteered in several capacities, including as a Chapman Community health screening volunteer and a mentor in the Argo-Noles pre-medicine program. He served on a medical mission trip to Nicaragua in 2011 and was also a Tobacco Free Kids volunteer and organizer the same year.
