Ashish Ojha, MDFamily Medicine
I graduated from Wright State University Medical School in Dayton, Ohio. My specialty is in Family Medicine and I am board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. I completed my postgraduate training in Family Medicine at the University of Florida (residency). I lived and worked in Illinois for 3 years before moving to Melbourne, Florida in 1996, where I continue to practice Family Medicine.
My patient special care interests include sports medicine and geriatric health. I see patients for splinting and casting, joint injections, dermatology procedures, and assist in the recuperation of nursing home patients. In 2010, I received recognition for the delivery of Quality Diabetes Care by NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance). In 2011, I received recognition for providing excellent care to persons with cardiovascular disease or stroke from NCQA’s Heart/Stroke recognition program.
I was born in Dehra Dun, India. In addition to my medical training and experience, I began my career as an engineer. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, a Master of Science in Material Science, and have four years of experience in as an aeronautical engineer. When not practicing medicine, I enjoy reading, traveling, soccer, tennis, and hiking with my two sons.
