Dr. Simkin is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and he is an experienced physician with more than 14 years of experience in the medical profession.

Dr. Simkin earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science from Barry University and his Associate of Arts from the University of Florida. He completed his Geriatric Fellowship at the University of Florida and completed additional postgraduate training in Internal Medicine with Berkshire Medical Center.

Dr. Simkin most recently worked as a Staff Hospitalist with Baylor Scott & White Healthcare at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock, TX. He has also served as a Staff Hospitalist with Questcare Hospitalists and Arlington Inpatient Management with Arlington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Simkin has also spent time in his career as a Team Physician with Vitas Hospice and as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics.

A Diplomate in Internal Medicine and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Simkin also earned his Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatrics. His special medical focus is in Supportive Care.
