Carlos A. Carrillo, MD
Surgical HospitalistCarlos Carrillo, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon who came to Health First from his solo practice. He was a staff member at Health First’s Viera Hospital, Parrish Medical Center and Titusville Center for Surgical Excellence, and had courtesy privileges at Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital. Dr. Carrillo completed his general surgery residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brookdale, New York, where he was awarded Resident — Teacher of the Year in the Department of Surgery. He completed his first two years of his general surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Carrillo earned his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he graduated with high honors.
Dr. Carrillo is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Louisiana. Dr. Carrillo was a major in the United States Air Force Medical Corp. and served as a general surgeon. He enjoys running, golf and music. Fluent in English and Spanish.
