Christina Grainger DNP, APRN-BC, RNFA has been serving Brevard County, as a nurse practitioner, since 2007. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL in 2005 and her Master’s of Science in Nursing degree (MSN) from Duke University in Durham, NC in 2007. During her studies at Duke, she worked as registered nurse at Duke University Medical Center on a cardiothoracic step-down unit. She has been working for Health First Medical Group since 2010.
Christina has a robust skill set and has practiced within orthopedic surgery, urgent care medicine and general surgery. She not only works in the clinical setting but in the operating room as well as she is a registered nurse first assist. In 2015 she graduated from the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. The American Nurses Association and the American Association of College of Nursing has called the DNP the terminal degree in clinical nursing. She is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Christina, speaks fluent English and Spanish. Her goal, as an acute care nurse practitioner, is to provide quality patient care in this every changing and growing healthcare environment. When she is not caring for patients, she is nurturing her three children with her husband.
