Dr. Trevino was born in Baltimore, MD, where he studied math and psychology as an undergraduate at the University of Maryland. Then he attended the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia where he received his medical degree. Dr. Trevino then returned to Baltimore to conduct his residency at Franklin Square Hospital Center. During his residency he narrowed his focus to internal medicine because he preferred treating a broad range of medical needs and wanted to provide preventive care.

After a visit to Tampa, Dr. Trevino made the decision to move to Florida to practice medicine, taking advantage of the warm weather and outdoor activities. In 1997 he joined Health First Medical Group, where his first practice location was in Melbourne. Then he moved to Cocoa Beach where is served as a physician in the Cocoa Beach Walk-In Clinic. Dr. Trevino, a member of the Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital Medical Staff, currently treats patients from the Health First Healtlplex location on Merritt Island.

His professional interests include general internal medicine, diabetes, managing chronic diseases, hypertension, and cholesterol.

Dr. Trevino enjoys outdoor sports such as sailing, and spending time with his two sons.
