Hatice Foell is an APRN for the Health First Medical Group’s Cardiovascular Specialists in Merritt Island. She conducts daily hospital rounds, performs histories and physicals, consultations, and assists with nuclear stress tests, and follow-ups with office-based patients. She works closely with office RNs coordinating Coumadin clinic, and provides patient education regarding atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathy, and valve replacement surgery. Prior to this position, Hatice worked in the Interventional and Cardiovascular units, where she was responsible for hospital admissions, discharges, and follow-up of patients in the ICU and PCU.
Hatice began her career in Turkey as an LPN. She worked there for more than ten years, performing a range of nursing administrative and supervisory roles in a 700-bed teaching hospital. Hatice moved to Brevard County in 1990 where she joined Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center, assigned to the Cardiovascular ICU. After completing her APRN program, she joined Health First Health Plans to work in the Congestive Heart Failure Disease Management Program. She also served as Administrative Nursing Supervisor for Health First Holmes Regional and Health First Palm Bay Hospital. Hatice received her LPN in Kayseri, Turkey. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from Hacettepe University School of Nursing in Ankara, Turkey. She completed her Adult Nurse Practitioner Post-Master’s degree from the University of Florida in 2000.

Hatice lives in Melbourne with her family.
