Ismael Ortega Colon, MD
Pulmonary DiseaseDr. Ortega earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Puerto Rico and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad Central del Caribe with his medical degree in 2005. His residency training was at Cleveland Clinic, Florida and he completed his fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Ortega is Board Certified in Critical Care, Pulmonology Diseases and Internal Medicine. He has been a guest speaker on several occasions on a variety of topics. He is a member of the honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. His professional interests lie in General Pulmonology, Interstitial Lung Disease, Chronic Cough, and the like. His prior research studies focus on many of these disease states.
He speaks English and Spanish fluently. His personal interests include basketball, golf, tennis, scuba diving, and reading.
