James Loras Raders, MD, is a board-certified urogynecologist who joined Health First from Zipper Urogynecology Associates in Melbourne, Florida, after being in private practice at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He served a surgical fellowship in Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the Institute for Female Pelvic Medicine in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and a clinical research fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Florida. He completed both his Obstetrics and Gynecology internship and residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he was awarded the Resident Research Award. Dr. Raders earned both his Doctor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Science with Honors and Distinction from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.

Dr. Raders is board-certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and is licensed to practice medicine in Florida. He has participated in numerous clinical and basic research trials, presented at national and international scientific meetings, and has authored or co-authored numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.  He has dedicated his career to improving care for women with pelvic floor disorders.
