Jarom Hanson, MDNeurohospitalist
Dr. Hanson is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and Health from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. His Medical Degree was earned at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, where he also completed his Neurology Residency Program and his Clinical Neurology Fellowship.
Dr. Hanson’s medical experience includes serving as a Neuro-Hospitalist with Medical University of South Carolina and as a research assistant with the University of Utah, Department of Pharmacology/Toxicology College of Pharmacy. His academic experience includes serving as Assistant Professor of Neurology and Chief Resident at Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Hanson is active in giving back to his community. He has served as Boy Scout Assistant Scout Master and as a Primary Age Volunteer Sunday School Teacher. While attending school in Utah, he served as a member of the Medicine Rural Outreach Program and participant in the SOM Inner-City Program. Dr. Hanson also volunteered as a missionary for his church traveling to Londrina, Brazil to perform community service and teach English classes.
