John Duncan, M.D. is board-certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Endocrinology. He has been practicing in Melbourne since 1986 and specializes in metabolic diseases, endocrine problems and diabetes in children.

In the Melbourne and Palm Bay area since 1986, Dr. Duncan holds privileges at Holmes Regional Medical Center where he is a one of two pediatric endocrine sub-specialists for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. At Holmes Regional Medical Center, he is the Pediatric Diabetes Consultant which has allowed families to be treated in their home community.

Since education is a significant component of an endocrinologist’s role in the care of patients, Dr. Duncan provides educational lectures or group discussions for physicians, nurses, allied healthcare personnel, schools and parent groups. Many of his endocrine topics derive from the areas of research, which he continues as part of the practice.

Health First Medical Group Pediatric Endocrinology and Dr. Duncan continue are providers of Voluntary Endocrine Care for economically disadvantaged families throughout the Space Coast area.
