John Daniel Strub, MD is a board-certified physician with Health First Medical Group. Before arriving at Health First, Dr. Strub was Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Internal Medicine at Brevard Health Alliance. He was a former high school teacher in Colorado, Texas and New Mexico before becoming a doctor.

Dr. Strub completed a residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT. He earned his Master of Arts in secondary education from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.

Dr. Strub is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board eligible for the American Board of Pediatrics. He is trilingual in English, Spanish and German. His hobbies include guitar, fiddle, canoe building and Contra dancing. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
