Josh Elder, MD, is a board-certified Internist who came to Health First from Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida, where he was a third-year Internal Medicine Resident Physician. Elder earned his Doctor of Medicine from American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten, where he earned the American University of the Caribbean Dean’s Academic Scholarship. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentration in Health Science, and Behavioral and Social Science from University of Central Florida in Orlando. Elder earned his Associate of Arts from St. John’s River Community College in Palatka, Florida.

Dr. Elder is licensed to practice medicine in Florida. In 2010, he was a member of the AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America), where he aided in the creation of programs designed to bring individuals out of poverty and recruited volunteers to assist students in school.
