Leila Patallo, MDNeurohospitalist
Dr. Leila Patallo is a Health First Medical Group physician Board-certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and Immunology. Dr. Patallo earned her Medical Degree from Medical Science Superior Institute of Havana in Havana, Cuba. This is also where she attended for Pre-Med and completed her Immunology residency. Dr. Patallo completed her Internal Medicine internship at State University of NY, Brooklyn, NY at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. Her Neurology residency was completed at New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center, Westchester, NY.
Prior to joining Health First Medical Group, Dr. Patallo owned Titusville Neurology specializing in general neurology, EEG, EMG/NCS, t-PA administration. Before that, Dr. Patallo as a physician with Neurophysiology Center in Tampa, FL.
Dr. Patallo is active in the community, providing support to the Epilepsy Foundation in Brevard County and the Brevard Health Alliance. She also volunteers her time giving lectures on Diabetes, fall prevention, stroke and Parkinson’s Disease. She also has extensive teaching experience as a volunteer teacher for the Physician Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University and St. Louis University School of Nursing online.
Dr. Patallo is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Neuroradiology, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association.
