Lorenc Kalaveshi, DO, is a board-certified hospitalist who came to Health First from AdventHealth Hospital in Ocala, Florida, where he was a locum GI hospitalist. He served his gastroenterology fellowship at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida. Dr. Kalaveshi completed his internal medicine residency at Saint James Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Kalaveshi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. He earned his Associate of Arts in Pre-Medical Studies from Saint Petersburg College in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Dr. Kalaveshi is licensed to practice medicine in Florida, New Mexico and Colorado. He is Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certified. He is fluent in English and Albanian, and speaks conversational at medical Spanish. Dr. Kalaveshi enjoys all sports, classic Russian literature and playing the guitar.
