Lydia Thuy Van, MD, is a board-certified Hospitalist who came to Health First from Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida, AdventHealth – New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach, Florida, and UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She completed her Graduate Training in Family Medicine at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. She served her Internship in Family Medicine at VCU-Fairfax Family Medicine Residency Program in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Van earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

Dr. Van is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Colorado. She has an active DEA number. Dr. Van is Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified.
