Dr. Mahmoud Mostafavi is a Board Certified physician for Health First Medical Group. He earned his Medical Degree from Freie Universitat Berlin in Germany. Dr. Mostafavi has researched breast cancer (monoclonal antibodies) at the University of Rudolf Virchow in Berlin. He completed his postgraduate training in Orthopedic and his Residency in Internal Medicine at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He also completed a Residency in Family Practice at Latrobe Area Hospital in Latrobe, PA.
Working alongside Dr. Elsy Rucker, Dr. Mostafavi joined Bradenton East Medical, a group practice in Bradenton, FL. He then opened his own private practice, Viera Family Practice. While in solo practice, Dr. Mostafavi served as a hospitalist on weekends for an area hospital. In that part-time position, he served as Medical Director for the hospital’s Home Care program. In 2013, Dr. Mostafavi joined Omni Healthcare, serving as their Hospitalist.

Dr. Mostafavi is married and lives in Melbourne. He became a US citizen in 1997 and speaks English, German, and Persian fluently. He is interested in Korean Martial Art and holds a Black Belt.
