Mario Ruberte, MDInternal Medicine
Dr. Ruberte, a board-certified Internist, is a graduate of Catholic University of Puerto Rico, the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Medical School, and the Fifth Pathway Program at the New York Medical College. He received his postgraduate training from Eastern Virginia Medical School (Residency) and spent one year as a Hospitalist at Sentara Health Systems in Virginia.
He has been practicing in Brevard County since 2007. He is involved in multiple physician leadership roles within the community. His professional interests include complete adult medical care, including outpatient care, inpatient care and skilled nursing facilities (Melbourne Terrace).
He has hospital privileges at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center. In 2011, Dr. Ruberte received recognition for the delivery of Quality Diabetes Care by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The same year he received recognition for providing excellent care to persons with cardiovascular disease or stroke from NCQA’s Heart/Stroke recognition program. Dr Ruberte is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine by the ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine).
Dr. Ruberte was born in Puerto Rico and speaks English and Spanish fluently. When he is not practicing medicine he enjoys the beach, boating, culinary arts and spending time with his family.
