Dr. Patel completed his Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management and his Residency in Anesthesiology at Henry Ford Hospital – Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Government Medical College – M.S. University in Baroda, Gujarat, India.
Before his tenure with Health First, Dr. Patel worked as an interventional pain physician for the Interventional Pain Center with three locations in Raleigh, NC. He also served as an emergency medical officer, a research co-investigator and a volunteer medical officer in India. He has special interest in chronic pain, cancer pain, neuropathic pain, spinal cord stimulation, and trigeminal neuralgia.
