Dr. Sang is board certified in Internal Medicine. He was born in the Dominican Republic and earned his medical degree from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in 1988. Dr. Sang moved to the United States in 1992 and completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Grady Memorial Hospital and Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta in 1996. He became Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1996 and re-certified in 2006.

Dr. Sang began serving Brevard in 1998 and focuses on primary and preventive care as well as the treatment of chronic conditions like diabetes, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. As a result of Dr. Sang’s interest in treating cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, he obtained the Heart/Stroke Certificate of Recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance Association (NCQA) in 2011. He also obtained the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program (DPRP), a recognition for being part of a publically recognized elite group for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care from the NCQA. In October of 2013, Dr. Sang received NCQA recognition for Delivery of Quality Diabetes Care.

Dr. Sang is actively involved at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center where he was the former chairman of the Department of Medicine and Viera Hospital where he is the current Chairman of the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Sang is licensed in the state of Florida and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Central Florida. In his personal time, Dr. Sang interest and hobbies include general aviation and information and technology.
