Rachel Cartechine, MD
OB/GYNRachel C. Cartechine, MD is part of our Health First Medical Group team. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Cartechine is a native of Brevard County who returned to continue her career in Obstetrics and Gynecology after working in private practice in Orlando, FL. Dr. Cartechine graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida where she earned degrees in both biology and biochemistry. She then obtained her Doctorate of Medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine. Dr. Cartechine subsequently completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville where she was selected to serve as Administrative Chief Resident. During residency, Dr. Cartechine participated in numerous research studies and was honored with both the “Ann-Harwood Nuss Resident Advocate” and “Best Resident Laparoscopist” awards. Additionally, she received many honors in administrative work and teaching. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Cartechine gained additional experience while working at Winnie Palmer Hospital, one of the largest women’s hospitals in the nation.
