Rajasri Krishnamurthy, MD is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She visits and accesses her patients not only in the hospital, but in rehabilitative centers and other outpatients’ facilities. Dr. Krishnamurthy chose internal medicine because she enjoys dealing with all the body systems and very complex patients. Her professional interests include management of chronic medical problems, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, preventative medicine and education.

Dr. Krishnamurthy knew since she was a little girl that she wanted to be in the medical field. She always knew because of her interests in all sciences in school and the satisfaction of treating and helping patients. She attended medical school at Coimbatore Medical College in Coimbatore, India. After medical school, she practiced in India in primary care and internal medicine at multispecialty hospitals for almost six years. She also received training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Once she moved to the United States, she did a nine month post graduate research fellowship in neurology at John Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. She also completed a three year residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

She moved to Florida in 2006 and joined Health First Medical Group in 2010 and is a member of the Health First Palm Bay Hospital and Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center medical staff.
