Randal Davis, Doctor Of Osteopathy (DO)Family Medicine
Randal James Davis, DO, is part of our Health First team. He specializes in family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine, and has a passion for providing cost-effective, whole person health to all ages of patients.
A native of Colorado, Dr. Davis earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Regis University in Denver and graduated Cum Laude. He then relocated to Florida, where he earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During his studies, he also was selected as a candidate for the Pre-doctoral Osteopathic Principles and Practice Fellowship Scholarship. His residency was completed in Florida Hospital’s Integrated Family and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine program.
Dr. Davis is Board Eligible for both the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practitioners and the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. His passion is incorporating Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy into the care for his patients. His special interests also include sports medicine, dermatologic care and evaluation and pediatric care. He has completed extra training in a variety of musculoskeletal medicine techniques for acute and chronic conditions, including ultrasound-guidance, prolotherapy and platelet rich plasma injections.
Dr. Davis enjoys medical missions and outreach in his free time. He has participated in international missions to Costa Rica, El Salvador, Columbia and Peru during his undergraduate, medical and residency training. He volunteers regularly with local high schools for sports physicals, and has previously participated in side-line coverage for middle school, high school, collegiate and professional sports teams. He regularly volunteers with the Disney Run series. He also has experience working with medically underserved populations in community clinics. Additionally, he is a National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners Certified Item Writer.
His pastimes include spending time with his friends and family, especially his wife and daughter. They enjoy an active life-style in while participating within their beautiful Central Florida community.
