Rejoy Mathai, DNP, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who came to Health First from Florida Heart Rhythm Specialists in Fort Lauderdale, where he was a Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner. Prior to his transition to a nurse practitioner role, he has had several years of experience managing inpatient cardiac patients as a registered nurse. He also successfully developed and led the WATCHMAN program at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

Mathai earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner as well as his Master of Science in Nursing Health Systems Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing Health Systems Leadership and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He is Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certified. Mathai is also NIH Stroke certified.
