Shannon Breininger is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with Health First Medical Group who has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare.
Breininger earned her Master of Science in nursing and her Bachelor of Science in nursing, both with high honors, at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. She earned her RN degree at Brevard Community College in Melbourne, FL. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Before arriving at Health First, Breininger was employed as an APRN in community and inpatient hospice and palliative care. Breininger has also worked at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL, University Medical Center at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, and at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Breininger is a volunteer with Brevard County Parks and Recreation, Brevard Public Schools, Hospice of St. Francis, the American Cancer Society and the American Brain Tumor Association.
