Vicki Smith received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from West Virginia State College in Institute, WV and her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner from Marshall University Graduate College in Huntington, WV. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) was earned from the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV. She is also a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Logan Mingo School of PN in Logan, WV.
Vicki is a Registered Nurse (RN) and is certified in CPR through the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS). She is also licensed by the American Association in Pain Management – Credential Pain.
Vicki has spent her entire career working closely with patients and comes to Health First from working as a Nurse Practitioner Locum Position for First Help Urgent Care in Vero Beach, FL. She has also served as a Hospitalist Locum Position at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL where she delivered compassionate treatment to indigent and low-income patient communities. Vicki also spent several years in Pikeville, KY as a Credentialed Pain Practitioner for Kentucky Pain Physician. Vicki has extensive experience working in West Virginia, spending time as a Nurse Practitioner for Prime Care Medical, an Emergency Nurse Practitioner for Boone Memorial Hospital, a Hospitalist, ER, ICU/CCU/Skilled Nursing Unit/MedSurgery/Oncology for Thomas Memorial Hospital and as a Nurse for Nursing Care Home Health.
