Wael Sankar, MD is part of our Health First team with a specialization in internal medicine/nocturnist.
Dr. Sankar completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. He attended Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dominica where he earned his Doctor of Medicine, Highest Honor. He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee where he earned his Master of Arts in international affairs with a concentration in economics and political science. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Dr. Sankar was awarded Best Teacher in recognition of his efforts to teach University of Central Florida Medical Students in Orlando, FL in 2016. He is Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certified, as well as basic life support, and advanced cardiac life support, certified. Dr. Sankar is fluent in English, with Arabic as his native language.
